Reality and Myth there is huge difference between these two words but there is also similarity between the two so can explain in this chapter. Our culture is so rich that everyone doubt about our culture. Even our people is also doubt and they call it myth. This happen because no other country or civilization match our criteria so they jealous our culture. It also happen because we don’t have the scientific proof but we can’t deny this is reality but it take time to prove scientifically.
Vedas and Purans : In todays time world is growing drastically the development of world is based on science and other factor is added in this that is AI but they can not compete Vedas and purans because the things mentioned in the Vedas and Purans are not discovered or late discovered in science. And so Vedas and Purans are written thousand year back. Many things which is written thousand year back are proved later in science such as Cyclic nature of the Universe (creation and destruction) which is written in vedas and purans but this can be proven by science later
- The universe is described as going through cycles of creation (Srishti), preservation (Sthiti), and destruction (Pralaya).Modern cosmology speaks of Big Bang → Expansion → Possible Big Crunch / Heat Death → New cycles.
- Concept of the Atoms ( Anu and Parmanu ) is also found in Vedas and Purans Vaisheshika Darshana (influenced by Vedic thought), Mahabharata
Earth is spherical and Floating in space is also mentioned in the Vedas and purans.
- Power of meditation and sound (OM) is also mentioned in Vedas and Purans
- Concept of time(Yugs ) is also mention in vedas and purans from thousand year back
Reality of the Ramayan and Mahabharat :- We can start with the Ramayan and Mahabharat some says this is just a mythological books but for most of the people this is everything for them this is not just spiritual because this books is based on the historical facts and based on the scientific events. Most of the event in the Ramayan and Mahabharat are proven also they have intresting story behind their creation. One of the incident which is mentioned in the Ramayan is the making of the Ramu Setu which is 48km from Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu (India) to Mannar Island, Sri Lanka but as the time passes their story of the creation also changes some says this is Adam’s bridge and creation is different, some of the people says this bridge is formed naturally as the time passes but in the natural process there is glitch the stone is used in the formation of the Ram Setu is not found in specific area.
Another evidence in the Ramayan is traces of Advanced surgery (Sushruta Period) . In Ramayana-era India, plastic surgery and surgical tools were known. Historical texts describe treatment of injuries, fractures, and even reconstruction.
